PayMatcher uses a smart subset-sum algorithm to find all combinations of open invoices that add up to your payment amount. It can handle hundreds of invoices and find matches in seconds.
What if there are multiple possible matches?
PayMatcher shows you all possible combinations, ranked by likelihood (e.g., oldest invoices first). You choose which match to apply.
Does PayMatcher work with partial payments?
Yes! PayMatcher can handle partial payments too. It will show you which invoices the payment could apply to, even if it doesn't cover the full amount.
Is my QuickBooks data safe?
Absolutely. PayMatcher uses OAuth 2.0 for secure connection. We only request the permissions we need: read invoices, write payments. Your data never leaves QuickBooks except for display in our app.
